Hello, We have two exciting events planned at YNiC next week and would love for you to join us. *YNiC Seminar: **Tuesday June 2nd at 11:30am* *Dr Anna Matejko: Are Maths and Reading Difficulties Related to One Another? Unpacking the Relationship Using Brain and Behaviour* In this talk Dr Anna Matejko will discuss evidence that uses multiple approaches - including brain imaging, behaviour, and intervention - to shed light on the relationship between math and reading difficulties. *Celebrating Collaboration in Neuroscience: **Wednesday June 3rd at 2pm* Join us for a series of short talks, interactive discussions, and the opportunity to connect with peers and potential collaborators. Zero-shot model of neural activity

Meta has released a model that predicts brain activation for visual and auditory inputs, and language. The trained model is available to download. https://ai.meta.com/blog/tribe-v2-brain-predictive-foundation-model/ I'd love to chat with anyone about how they could use this in their research. I feel it could be very helpful for hypothesis generation -- and maybe for some kinds of projects, rather than a real replication, you could do a "virtual replication" :) Cheers Beth

This includes students who wish to attend the Data Analysis in Neuroimaging Course starting this semester. The next monthly induction will be on *Tuesday the 5th of May, at 10:00am*.
