Dear YNiC researchers, I'm pleased to say we have just been awarded an internal equipment renewal grant to replace the majority of our PCs in YNiC (stimulus and open plan PCs), purchase a decent chunk of central storage, and a few other bits and bobs. This will be purchased and rolled out between now and July 2025. This should massively improve things at YNiC, so I'm really grateful to all who contributed to the application but biggest thanks to Joe Lyons. We'll obviously try to keep disruption to a minimum, but there is a lot of new devices to setup etc so please bear with us during this time. Have a good Winter Break/Christmas/New Year.
