If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to
YNiC and/or
an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. This includes
students who wish to attend the Data Analysis in Neuroimaging Course
starting this semester. The next monthly induction will be on *Tuesday the
5th of May, at 10:00am*. Please ask them to contact support(a)ynic.york.ac.uk to
sign up.

*MRI* Level 0 Training: *Tuesday the 5th of May 13:00-15:00.*

RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted

wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4

Lead Technical Specialist, York Neuroimaging Centre (YNiC)
We are seeking a senior technical leader to manage the unit, drive
growth, and ensure operational excellence. Balancing strategic oversight
with day-to-day operations, you will oversee the seamless functionality
of cutting-edge research equipment while leading and managing a
specialist technical team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure: Manage the lifecycle of MEG, MRI, and TMS systems,
including procurement and maintenance.
* Compliance: Act as the primary authority for IRMER, CQC, GCP, and
H&S standards.
* Commercial: Lead financial operations, manage substantial budgets,
and act as the primary liaison for industrial partners.
* Leadership: Contribute to the YNiC Management Committee and
Technical Leadership Team while building a robust external
professional network.
* Leadership: Manage a team of technical specialists with a dual focus
on current role proficiency and future career aspirations, ensuring
individual development supports the centre’s future plans.
Salary: £58,225 to £67,468
Grade 8

Full Time
Based at the campus at the University of York

🖥️ *MSc Analysis Desktops*
We now have four desktops in Open Plan that have the University's central
Linux build to allow students from the Data Analysis in Neuroimaging course
to access their course materials in YNiC. These are the four PC's next to
the window, towards the front of the Open Plan. If you have any problems
logging into these computers please let us know.
