PhD Position - Centre for Integrative Neuroscience (CIN), Tuebingen
The laboratory of Markus Siegel at the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience (CIN),
Tuebingen (
http://www.cin.uni-tuebingen.de/research/siegel.php) is seeking candidates for
a PhD position to study large-scale neuronal interactions in humans.
The project will focus on ongoing and task-related neuronal oscillations and interactions
in the healthy and diseased human brain. Experimental methods include, MEG, psychophysics,
spectral analysis, source-reconstruction techniques, and novel connectivity analyses. The
candidate will join a stimulating interdisciplinary team that employs a broad spectrum of
neurophysiological techniques in animals and humans.
The ideal candidate is highly motivated with a strong interest in interdisciplinary
research. Candidates must have an MA (or equivalent) in neuroscience, physics,
mathematics, psychology, or related fields. Fluency in Matlab is required. Experience in
electrophysiology, spectral analysis and/or M/EEG is highly valued.
