Dear Users,
We are finalising the insurance and damages compensation claim with respect to the water damage in YNiC.
I now need to have any final claims for any losses you may have suffered. These must be backed by evidence please.
I need to know a) Has your work been affected such that you need an extension of a contract? If so, I need to know the work affected, the dates (start and end), the loss in financial terms and details of the contract/grant/code that was the source of the contract funds. We will need to have evidence for actual loss - so if you were able to carry out other work including writing, then that time cannot be part of the insurance claim.
b) have you lost scanning time that cannot be carried out now that we have reopened. Note that we cannot claim for a delay, it must be an irrecoverable loss. I need to know dates/hours, reasons for it being irrecoverable and the total financial loss including any expenses paid and not recoverable.
c) has any business been lost? If so, what was the nature of the business, the dates, costs and why it is an aborted cost.
d) have any monies been spent on consumables that are unuseable, eg a chemical/drug that was unable to be used and is out of date. Again I need to know the details, the dates when it should have been used and the losses.
e) have any special offers, conference, deadlines been missed that will result in a financial loss. Again details and evidence please
