Postdoctoral fellowship ‘cognitive neuroscience of self-control’ at the Department of Experimental Psychology, Ghent University, Belgium
We invite applications for a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in the project ‘Efficient intentions: how control beliefs shape self-control’ under the supervision of Prof. Marcel Brass and Dr. Davide Rigoni. The project is part of the Templeton Foundation grant ‘The Science & Philosophy of Self-Control’. The successful candidate holds a PhD in psychology, neuroscience or a related field. He/she has experience with fMRI and/or EEG research in the field of cognitive neuroscience as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications. We provide an excellent research environment with access to a 3T research scanner, EEG facilities, TMS and fNIRS. Starting date of the appointment is as soon as possible.
