Unfortunately our external Internet provider is having some issues today. See below for further information. This will affect on-site users accessing resources off-campus and off-campus users attempting to use YNiC facilities (cluster, remote desktop, file transfers, etc..)

Dear DCOs, Please distribute this widely. As you may already be aware, Janet (our internet supplier) has been hit by a distributed denial of service (DDOS) attack this morning. We lost internet connection earlier today, and as the attack is ongoing we may lose it again over the course of the day. Janet are working to put blocks in place, and they are issuing updates to us as they have them. We'll issue updates via our Twitter feed (https://twitter.com/UoYITServices) as necessary.
