Dear all,
In addition to the position of research programme coordinator
(see earlier post), we are also inviting applications for a postdoctoral
position at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London.
The postholder will work on a new EU-funded multi-centre programme
(PSYSCAN) on predictors of clinical outcome in people at ultra high risk
for psychosis and individuals with a first episode of the disorder. The
programme involves the analysis of multi-modal neuroimaging data,
with the aim of developing diagnostic and prognostic tools that can be
used in clinical practice. PSYSCAN involves a consortium of academic
centres in London, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Galway, Utrecht, Maastricht,
Melbourne, Santander, Madrid, Gottingen, and Copenhagen, as well as
industrial partners with expertise in this area, including Ixico and
Cambridge Cognition. The post holder will be encouraged to work with
members of the consortium with expertise in image analysis, including Dr
Andrea Mechelli (Institute of Psychiatry), Prof Ed Bullmore (University
of Cambridge), Prof Mick Brammer (Institute of Psychiatry), and Prof
Derek Hill (Ixico). For more information on this post, please see:

I will be happy to answer any questions from prospective applicants.
Kind regards,
Andrea Mechelli
