The Research Imaging Centre within the Centre for Addiction and Mental
Health (CAMH) is presently seeking PhD student interested in
Neuroimaging research directed to the identification of biomarkers for
Alzheimer’s disease. CAMH is a teaching hospital fully affiliated to
University of Toronto. The Research Imaging Centre at CAMH was
established 20 years ago and has been a world leader in in Positron
Emission Tomography. The Centre was expanded in 2011 to include a new
magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) suite and now houses a PET scanner
facility, a MRI scanner suite and a fully equipped radiochemistry.
Applicants should have recently received a masters degree in a specialty
related to neuroscience and has experience in neuroimaging and
interacting with clinical population. The successful candidate will
assist in clinical assessments and analyse PET and MRI images. Preferred
candidates will have significant experience in multimodal imaging
modalities namely PET, structural and functional MRI.
