Hello all, Well after a rather disappointing turn out last week I can only apologise again for the lack of alcohol following Michael's talk and reassure everyone that normal service will be resumed, the wine is ready and waiting. Even better though is the prospect of a project proposal from Jakke Tamminen, and a brainstorm feedback from Laura Lee. Jakke will be talking about his project "Neural correlates of novel word learning". Laura will talk about "Outcomes of Brainstorming. Comparing fMRI & MEG; category-selectivity in the visual cortex". Laura's asked me to emphasise that this won't be the same as her departmental talk, she'll be talking much more about techniques and analysis rather than results, discussing filtering, block design in MEG and virtual electrodes, so there's sure to be something for everyone.
