Hello
There was a brief power outage that has affected some of the services at
YNiC at about 6pm. The remote desktop nodes are currently down and we're
working to being them back up again.
We're let you know when things are back online.

New subject: Power Outage at YNiC - Remote Desktop services affected - temporary fix in place
I've setup some temporary remote desktops which are now online. The power
outage has affected some of the power equipment so I've had to move some
things around. We're at a reduced capacity but I'll monitor over the
weekend and we'll find a proper fix on Monday.

Good evening folks,
This evening a power outage in York is wreaking havoc with a number of not
only out of systems but, it would seem, communal water supplies. This poses
some additional challenges for us at ynic beyond remote computing access so
please bear with us whilst we sort those first and rest assured that we
will get all services back up to normal as soon as we can.
