The Laboratory for Social and Neural Systems Research (PIs: E. Fehr, T. Hare, C. Ruff, K. E. Stephan, P. Tobler) at the University of Zurich invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral researcher position. The successful candidate will work with Philippe Tobler and other SNS Lab researchers on the neural basis of human reward processing and decision making.

Candidates should hold (or expect) a good PhD degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., psychology, neuroscience, economics, computer science, or physics), have a strong publication record, and significant research experience using human neuroscience methods (in particular fMRI). Both junior and senior postdoctoral researchers are invited to apply. The position is available starting June 1, 2014, and initial appointment will be for 1 year with the possibility of renewal for at least two additional years. The SNS Lab (http://www.sns.uzh.ch) is a research center at the University of Zurich that investigates the principles underlying social and neuronal systems in a friendly and multidisciplinary research environment. A single custom-built unit hosts multiple state-of-the-art facilities that are fully dedicated to research. These facilities include a Philips Achieva 3T MRI scanner as well as laboratories for psychophysics, behavioral group studies, peripheral and autonomic neurophysiology, pharmacology, and transcranial magnetic stimulation. The working language in the laboratory is English.
