The MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit (CBSU) http://www.mrc-cbu.cam.ac.uk/ is an internationally renowned research institute with state-of-the-art cognitive neuroscience facilities.

Applicants are invited for a Research Assistant position to take on the role of EEG and MEG Support Officer at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit (CBU). He or she will be responsible for maintaining the EEG/MEG labs at highest standards, day-to-day management of the EEG and MEG labs, operating an agreed amount of MEG slots, training new MEG researchers and operators, carrying out lab-related administrative tasks, and supporting EEG and MEG research where appropriate.
You will have a degree in psychology or other related discipline. Experience working in an EEG or MEG lab with human participants is essential, as are excellent time management and organisational skills.
The starting salary will be in the range of £21,517 - £23,979 per annum, depending upon qualifications and experience. We offer a flexible pay and reward policy, 30 days annual leave entitlement, and an MRC final salary Pension Scheme. On site car and bicycle parking is available.
