A postdoctoral position for 24 months is available immediately at the Clinical Imaging
Core Facility (CI2C) - INSERM U1171, University Hospital of Lille, France. Our laboratory
is specialized in clinical, cognition, and multimodal MR imaging studies of
Neurodegenerative diseases (Alzheimer, Vascular dementia and Parkinson diseases) and is
directed by Pr. Xavier Leclerc, MD, PhD (Director of CI2C) and Pr. Régis Bordet, MD, PhD
(Director of INSERM U1171 team).
The postdoctoral candidate will develop new neuroimaging analysis pipelines. The applicant
will perform multimodal and voxel based imaging analyses of structural, functional MRI and
DTI images (such as connectivity analysis) to address clinical research questions in
patients with neurodegenerative diseases.
Additional roles include leadership and active participation in project management
activities including the administration of research projects, as well as supervision of
postgraduate students.
CI2C - INSERM U1171 team has a 3T MR scanner entirely dedicated to research with
MR-compatible equipments (several head coils, monitor / screen for fMRI experiments,
MR-compatible EEG system). Our team is involved in several multicenter projects (national
and international).
Desired skills and experience:
Applicants must have completed a graduate degree (PhD) or similar degree in neuroscience
with relevant experience in multimodal imaging.
The applicant must have experience in signal processing, functional MRI or diffusion
tensor imaging, the use of neuroimaging software packages such as SPM, Freesurfer, Matlab,
and FSL.
Experience in network-based methods, such as graph theory, would be highly desirable.
Applicants should also have exemplary communications skills.
