Dear Spinlanders,
FIVE POSTDOCTORAL POSITIONS funded by the Wallenberg Foundation are
available at the Center for Medical Imaging and Visualization (CMIV) in
Linkoping, Sweden. CMIV (
https://www.liu.se/cmiv) is a multidisciplinary
research center with a strong clinical focus, initiated by Linköping
University, the County Council of Östergötland and Sectra AB. It is
located in the University Hospital, within the clinical environment.
Suggested areas of research includes:
--- Concentration determination of neurotransmitters GABA and Glu (MRS)
--- Mechanistic modelling of the BOLD-response (fMRI)
--- Quantitative myelin mapping (qMRI)
--- Ultrafast fMRI (fMRI)
With a focus on the development of high-performance MR-methods for
diagnosing and monitoring neurodegenerative diseases (such as MS), sleep
disorders, etc.
