Dear Users Today there will be a talk at YNiC (4-5 pm) by Dashiel Munding from Université d’Aix-Marseille. The title of Dashiel's talk is "The Cortical Dynamics of Speech Production". Abstract: The architecture and timecourse of the perception of visual words and picture recognition has been relatively well studied, but the process of articulating words is less well understood as it presents practical problems that make the acquisition of accurate MEG data difficult. This brief presentation will discuss a pilot MEG study aimed at capturing and analysing data from a picture naming protocol, its aims, pitfalls and the promising but curious particularities of a very preliminary analysis of the data.
