Hope you had a relaxing weekend, here is a quick update.
* đď¸ **YNiC Seminar - Tuesday 21st of October* YNiC seminars are scheduled for Tuesdays at 11:30am fortnightly. *Next Tuesday *(21st of October) I will be running an *Introductory Session to the YNiC IT system.* This is aimed at new students/staff who haven't used YNiC before and want to get a head start on things like: - Navigating the system - Accessing data - Using different storage spaces - Using the YNiC cluster ... and other useful tips and tricks.

* đď¸ **YNiC User Inductions* If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to YNiC and/or an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. The next monthly induction will be on *Tuesday the 4th of November, at 1:00pm*. Please ask them to contact support@ynic.york.ac.uk to sign up.
* đď¸ **Level 0 operator training* *MRI* Level 0 Training: *Tuesday the 4th of November 14:00-16:00.* *MEG* Level 0 Training:* Wednesday the 5th of November, 13:00-15:00.* Please note that users requesting Level 0 training should be a PhD, RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted to YNiC. Please email support@ynic.york.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4 trainees, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
đ§âđť *Research Coding Club* The University is running a Research Coding Club again this academic year which may be of interest to YNiC researchers. The theme of the programme is how FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles can be applied to research software.
