♻️ *How To Reduce the Carbon Footprint of your Research* Thank you to everyone who came along to the Departmental seminar last week. * 🗓️ **YNiC User Inductions* If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to YNiC and/or an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. The next monthly induction will be on *Tuesday the 7th of October, at 10:00am*. Please ask them to contact support@ynic.york.ac.uk to sign up.

* 🗓️ **Level 0 operator training* *MRI* Level 0 Training: *Tuesday the 7th of October, 13:00-15:00.* *MEG* Level 0 Training:* Wednesday the 8th of October, 13:00-15:00.* Please note that users requesting Level 0 training should be a PhD, RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted to YNiC. Please email support@ynic.york.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4 trainees, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

* 🗓️ **YNiC Seminar - 7th of October* YNiC seminars are scheduled for* Tuesdays at 11:30am* fortnightly. Our next seminar will be *Tuesday the 7th of October *and we have a speaker from the University of Loughborough,* Dr Silke **Wortha*, with a talk titled *"**Understanding Fractions in the Brain: Insights from Training and Arithmetic Studies"*.
