Dear Users This weekend we have to turn off the power to YNiC as the Biocentre is carrying out some essential maintenance to the main electrical distribution board. Although Psychmail will hopefully remain running (a UPS should provide power), other services will be affected. There will be no remote access. Any cluster jobs running will be lost and will have to be resubmitted. We believe that cluster jobs in the queue to be run will remain in the queue. Please check and be prepared to resubmit the jobs. Please log out of all machines in the open plan area by Friday afternoon - please do not leave any analysis jobs running on these machines as the jobs will be terminated and we cannot say in what state this will leave any files. In any case we will be closing down all machines early Friday evening. The website and help facilities will not be available.
