**The University of Texas at Austin Department of Psychology invites
applications for a research non-tenure track position as a Research
Assistant Professor in the Cognitive Neuroscience area to begin as early
as Fall semester 2014. The preference is for a strongly productive
candidate with interest and research experience in the brain systems
underlying higher cognition, and the use of advanced statistical methods
in the analysis of neuroimaging data. Successful candidates will be
expected to teach fMRI methods courses, collaborate with researchers on
experimental design and analysis, and enhance a diverse learning and
work environment. Applicants should at a minimum have a PhD with
specialization in Cognitive Neuroscience, Statistics, or a related
field, evidence of strong peer-reviewed publications, and a solid grasp
of modern statistical analyses as applied to fMRI. Summer salary can be
supplied from extramural grants.
