The YNiC cluster is now back in operation. Apologies for the delay but we were unfortunately hindered by (very) slow delivery of some parts needed for server maintenance.
All of the machines were imaged overnight to get the client software for the cluster up-to-date. For staff, you need to make sure your machine is running image 20081117.
The main change which should be noted is that it is no longer necessary to apply for your account to be enabled to use the cluster. The step is now automatically performed at account creation. The docwiki has been updated to reflect this and the paper-based guides will be updated at their next revision.
