The Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic Medicine,
RWTH Aachen University, Germany invites applications for a PhD position
in a third party funded project on "neural networks of emotion-cognition
interaction in subclinical schizotypy". Applicants should have a
master's degree in psychology, neuroscience or related fields and a
strong interest and relevant experience in relevant research areas and
methods.
The applicant is expected to conduct and analyse a fMRI-study under
supervision of Dr. Katharina Pauly and Prof. Dr. Ute Habel. Applicants
must have a good working(?) knowledge of spoken and written English.
Knowledge of German is advantageous. Comensuration is according to
German federal regulations (TV-L 13 ½). The appointment is limited to 2
years.
The Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatic Medicine
houses a training program for doctoral students in a network comprising
the neuroscience research at RWTH Aachen University, the Research Center
Jülich in Germany (JARA-Brain,
www.jara.org/jara-brain) and the
University of Pennsylvania (USA).
