A Research Associate post (50% of full time) is available at the
University of York for a UK Research Council funded project called
/Mobility, Mood and Place: a user-centred approach to design of built
environments to make mobility easy, enjoyable and meaningful for older
people. /The role involves designing, conducting experiments and
interpreting EEG (electroencephalography) data to make inferences about
stress states arising from movement in specific settings. The project
requires expertise in experimental design and statistical manipulation
of data.
Relevant PhD or MSc required. Salary within the range £29,541 - £36,298
per annum, /consummate/ to /experience/, reduced pro-rata. The hours of
work will be 18.5 per week, for a period of up to 3 years, although
other patterns of working will be considered.
