Cognitive Neuroscience of Memory
Job Summary:
The Rotman Research Institute of Baycrest is offering a research fellowship in the
cognitive neuroscience of memory in the laboratory of Dr. Brian Levine at the Rotman
Research Institute. The projects involve the neural and behavioral correlates of memory,
particularly autobiographical memory.
Responsibilities:
• Analyzing of individual difference effects in healthy adults and patients’
autobiographical memory processes in relation to structural neuroimaging, functional
neuroimaging (EEG, fMRI, MEG), genetics, personality, psychopathology, and behavioral
measures.
• This training opportunity provides broad exposure to systems neuroscience methods such
as advanced neuroimage analysis and neural endophenotypes in the context of ecologically
valid mnemonic phenotypes.
Qualifications:
• Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent degree.
• The Rotman Research Institute welcomes applications from all qualified individuals,

Applications will be reviewed in the order received, with an expected start date before
March 2015. The duration of the fellowship is two years, with the option of continuing for
a third year. Bursaries are in line with the fellowship scales of the Canadian Institutes
of Health Research and include an allowance for travel and research expenses.
