Fwd: Full Time Paid Research Assistant Position for fMRI and Virtual Reality Study

The Rissman Memory Laboratory at UCLA is conducting a research project investigating the cognitive and neural mechanisms of learning in virtual reality (VR) environments. An employment opportunity is available for a full-time Laboratory Assistant III, who ideally would start this June and continue through July 31, 2015. The incumbent will participate in many aspects of research in the lab, including: assisting with the development of VR environments and interactive learning tasks, assisting with behavioral testing and fMRI scanning, verifying data and entering pertinent information into database for statistical analysis, conducting statistical analyses, assisting with behavioral and fMRI data visualization, purchasing and organizing laboratory supplies, handling IRB-related paperwork, screening and recruiting experimental participants, obtaining informed consent, scheduling participants for testing, tracking progress of the study, collaborating with a team of volunteer undergraduate research assistants.
