A part-time position as a doctoral student or scientific assistant is
available at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy III of the
University of Ulm in the field of genetic imaging (3 years). The focus
is on the genetics of perfusion imaging and imaging endophenotypes of
affective disorders. Candidates will be considered until the position
is filled.
The successful candidate will work in a team forming an international
consortium including the BfArM (the German FDA) and the DZNE in Bonn,
and partners in Sweden and Canada, funded by the NEURON-Eranet agency.
The Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy III hosts a
cognitive-behavioural Training Institute on its premises. This opening
might be of interest to a young psychologist with some experience of
neuroimaging and wishing to initiate clinical training in the German
system, since there are excellent opportunities to combine the two
activities.
I will be in Hamburg at the Human Brain Mapping conference, and
interested candidates are very welcome to contact me for an informal
chat.
