2-year postdoctoral research position on congenital amusia in Lyon, France
We are seeking applicants for a 2-year post-doctoral position that integrates into our research project on congenital amusia funded by the French National Agency of Research. The post-doctoral researcher will work with Barbara Tillmann (Auditory Cognition and Psychoacoustics team) and Anne Caclin (Brain Dynamics and Cognition team) at the Lyon Neuroscience Research Center (http://crnl.univ-lyon1.fr), and will conduct behavioral and EEG/MEG experiments investigating the cognitive and neural correlates of this musical deficit.
Candidates should hold a PhD in neuroscience, experimental psychology, or a related field, and are invited to send a CV, a statement of research interests, and the names of two references to btillmann@olfac.univ-lyon1.fr and anne.caclin@inserm.fr. Interest in auditory perception, music cognition and brain imaging would be a plus. The starting date is flexible, but no later than January 1st, 2013. Application will close on July 1st 2012 or when the position is filled.
