Postdoc position: fMRI of number processing at NeuroSpin
We are looking for a bright and motivated postdoc to join a research project related to the representation of number in the human brain which will use high-field / high-resolution functional imaging (at 7 Tesla). This position will be available within the INSERM Cognitive Neuroimaging Unit (www.unicog.org http://www.unicog.org/, directed by Stanislas Dehaene), situated at the NeuroSpin Center in the greater Paris area. The position is funded for 2 years within a 4-year project financed by the French National Research Agency (PI Evelyn Eger).
The ideal candidate will come from a background of visual neuroscience, potentially including the processing of number. Previous experience in functional imaging is required (and would ideally include multivariate decoding and/or surface-based analysis), and good programming skills in either matlab or python will be a strong plus. Good communication skills in English (oral and written) are necessary.
The intended starting date for the position is around July or September 2015. Formal applications should include a Curriculum Vitae, application letter with statement of research interests, and the names and contact information of two researchers who would be willing to provide a reference. Please send your application by email before 15^th December or address further questions to evelyn.eger@cea.fr mailto:evelyn.eger@cea.fr.
