Understanding operator covered slots

Hi all, Users have recently raised a couple of queries about YNIC operator covered slots - and there appears to be some confusion. Please can I clarify the following: 1) Operator covered slots are limited and pre-allocated on each scanner - currently we allocated 12 hours per week on the GE and 18.5 hours on the Siemens. These numbers are subject to periodic review. 2) We will endeavour to populate the database with operator covered slots for 6 weeks into the future to help to provide extra flexibility for fully funded projects (this has not always been possible but should be implemented moving forward) 3) Training does NOT use up pre-allocated YNiC operator covered slots: although it may appear in the database that operator covered slots are used for training, these slots represent times when a YNiC operator is required to attend to perform training, but these slots are in addition to the pre-allocated operator covered slots for research scanning.
