Hi everyone,

Our new cognitive discussion science group "Cogs" begins in earnest this week (Friday lunchtime, 12.15, YNiC) when I will be leading a session on Space and Concepts.- the preprint that inspired it can be found on the cogs discussion board.

As a reminder the plan is that these generate informal and lively discussion about topics that excite and inspire us. It's open to undergrads, academics, masters students, postdocs, research staff, PhD students, YNiC staff and basically anyone with an interest in cognitive neuroscience at the University of York.

We also have a confirmed speaker for 24th November, when Alex Carter will be leading a session on "How we see colour with two eyes".
