Doctoral Candidate (m/f) (50% E13 TV-L)
We are looking for a doctoral candidate, who will join the team of the newly established laboratory “Social Psychology/Decision Neuroscience” (Prof. Dr. Soyoung Q Park) in the Institute of Psychology, at the University Lübeck, Germany.
This position is for a period of 3 years.
The goal of the lab is to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying decision making in the human brain with the help of structural and functional MRI, EEG and brain stimulation. The focus lies on economic decisions and decisions in social contexts. The research center at the University of Lübeck offers excellent state-of-the-art interdisciplinary research facilities and extensive possibilities to international collaborations.
Successful candidate must hold a degree (Diplom/Master) in psychology or in related fields (economics, cognitive science, biology, neuroscience, engineering or other). Experience in acquisition and analysis of human neuroimaging data (fMRI, EEG or MEG) are desired (e.g. SPM). Excellent programming skills in Matlab, advanced statistical analysis and experiences in behavioral modelling will be preferred. Interest and/or experience in the field of decision neuroscience are obligatory. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who enjoys team work and is self-organized.
The salary level will be adjusted according to the salary scheme of E13 TV-L. The conditions of this position equate 50% of a E13 TV-L position. The position will be filled as soon as possible.
