The School of Psychological Sciences seeks to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Audiology/Hearing Sciences but the post could also appeal to individuals from cognitive or health psychology. Candidates should hold a relevant PhD, and have research interests, high quality publications and an outstanding international reputation, commensurate with their level of experience. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong track record in basic (e.g., auditory neuroscience) or translational (e.g., auditory devices and technology including implantable devices) research.
The purpose of the post is to undertake high quality research and excellent teaching. There will be a requirement to attract significant research income, and to produce high quality, high impact outputs, as well as enhance teaching activities within any of our programmes. You will help develop the profile of the Audiology and Deafness group on a global scale
