🧠* YNiC Seminar - Tuesday at 11:30am* All staff and students are welcome to join our YNiC Seminar tomorrow. We have an external speaker *Dr Calo Campagnoli* from the University of Leeds, presenting a talk titled '*Perception and Presence: Mechanisms Underlying Real-World Action and Virtual Immersion*'. 🖥️ *MSc Analysis Desktops* We now have four desktops in Open Plan that have the University's central Linux build to allow students from the Data Analysis in Neuroimaging course to access their course materials in YNiC. These are the four PC's next to the window, towards the front of the Open Plan. If you have any problems logging into these computers please let us know.
*✉️ Save the Date - 3rd of June 2pm* YNiC is pleased to host a '*Collaboration in Neuroscience*' event on the *3rd of June at 2pm*. Join us for a series of short talks, followed by cake, coffee and networking. Please save the date - more details will follow soon.
*🗓️ **YNiC User Inductions* If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to YNiC and/or an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. This includes students who wish to attend the Data Analysis in Neuroimaging Course starting this semester. The next monthly induction will be on *Tuesday the 7th of April, at 10:00am*. Please ask them to contact support@ynic .york.ac.uk to sign up.
*🗓️ **Level 0 operator training* *MRI* Level 0 Training: *Tuesday the 7th of April 13:00-15:00.* *MEG* Level 0 Training:* Wednesday the 8th of April, 13:00-15:00.* Please note that users requesting Level 0 training should be a PhD, RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted to YNiC. Please email support@ynic.york.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4 trainees, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
