Research Assistant / Associate Ref: M00563 Grade 6/7: £26,527 - £29,837 / £32,590 - £36,661 per annum
You will contribute to a project, funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC), entitled “Using Magnetoencephalography to Investigate Aberrant Neural Synchrony in Prodromal Schizophrenia”. Specifically, the job requires the analysis and acquisition of MEG-data sets and implementation of novel analytic tools, contributing to the design and programming of MEG experiments, recruiting and running the participants, assisting in analysing the results, and participating in the writing up of the results.
With extensive, up-to-date practical knowledge in MEG or EEG, you will have excellent knowledge of source-localization, Matlab and experimental control software.
This post is initially funded for 2 years. It is anticipated that this will be extended to 3 years subject to securing additional funding.
