Here is a quick update for you ..

🗓️ YNiC Seminar - Tomorrow (21st of October)
Tomorrow (21st of October) I will be running an Introductory Session to the YNiC IT system. This is aimed at new students/staff who haven't  used YNiC before and want to get a head start on things like:
- Navigating the system
- Accessing data
- Using different storage spaces
- Using the YNiC cluster
... and other useful tips and tricks. 

🗓️ PostDoc and Research Assistant Showcase
The 'PostDoc and Research Assistant Showcase'  is taking place on the afternoon of Monday the 27th of October 2025 (1-4-15pm, PS/C/003). Please see the programme. 

🗓️ YNiC User Inductions
If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to YNiC and/or an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. The next monthly induction will be on Tuesday the 4th of November, at 1:00pm. Please ask them to contact support@ynic.york.ac.uk to sign up.

 🗓️ Level 0 operator training
MRI Level 0 Training: Tuesday the 4th of November 14:00-16:00.
MEG Level 0 Training: Wednesday the 5th of November, 13:00-15:00.
Please note that users requesting Level 0 training should be a PhD, RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted to YNiC. Please email support@ynic.york.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4 trainees, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
