📄 YNIC General Consent Form Update
We have made an update to the YNIC General Consent Form and request that all researchers now use this most recent version (version 4) to register participants at the centre. Here is a direct link to the pdf: http://www.ynic.york.ac.uk/frm/GeneralConsent.pdf

🧠 PostDoc and Research Assistant Showcase
The 'PostDoc and Research Assistant Showcase'  is taking place on the afternoon of Monday the 27th of October 2025 (1 - 4:15pm, PS/C/003).
🧠 Emerging Techniques and Technologies to Understand the Thalamus
This free event will take place in Birmingham on the 12th and 13th of January. Please see the webpage for more details.

🗓️ YNiC Seminar
YNiC seminars are scheduled for Tuesdays at 11:30am fortnightly. Our next Seminar will be on the 11th of November, with a talk from Dr Holly Brown. All staff and students are very welcome to attend. If you would like to add the YNiC Seminars to your University google calendar, you can use the following link: https://tinyurl.com/YNICSeminar

🗓️ YNiC User Inductions
If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to YNiC and/or an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. The next monthly induction will be on Tuesday the 4th of November, at 1:00pm. Please ask them to contact support@ynic.york.ac.uk to sign up.

 🗓️ Level 0 operator training
MRI Level 0 Training: Tuesday the 4th of November 14:00-16:00.
MEG Level 0 Training: Wednesday the 5th of November, 13:00-15:00.
Please note that users requesting Level 0 training should be a PhD, RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted to YNiC. Please email support@ynic.york.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4 trainees, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
