NeuroImageElsevier is pleased to announce the NeuroImage Video Advisor Contest, which is open to PhD students and post-doctoral level researchers in neuroimaging.

NeuroImage YouTube Channel
NeuroImage is establishing a YouTube Channel with the aim of collaborating with the community with a free-to-view platform for posting and viewing videos related to all areas of neuroimaging.

View Paul Fletcher's video introduction.

The Contest
The Contest represents an exciting opportunity for PhD students and post-doctoral level researchers to help shape new video content for the community, and should provide a unique opportunity to network extensively across the field.  For more information, either visit the Contest website or send an email to Michael Osuch, Executive Publisher.

Contest Winners
Up to six winners will receive an invitation to be appointed Video Advisor to NeuroImage, commencing on 1 January, 2010 through to 30 September, 2010, in addition to which each will receive a gratis one-year print subscription to NeuroImage

How to Enter
PhD students and post-doctoral level researchers in neuroimaging are now invited to submit their own video for the NeuroImage YouTube channel.  Winners will be identified by a panel of judges made up from the editorial team that includes the Editor-in-Chief plus representatives from key sections within the journal.  Videos will be judged by the following criteria:
(1) Scientific Quality
(2) Quality of verbal presentation
(3) Quality of video presentation

Details on how to submit, alongside the Terms and Conditions, can be found at the Contest website.

Note: Video entries must be posted to this FTP site:
ftp://anonymous.elsevier.com/elsevier-in/NeuroImage,
(if you have any problems please cut and paste the URL into your browser)
no later than Monday, 30 November 2009.

Good luck and we look forward to receiving your video submissions!

Yours sincerely,
