🎄 York Giving Tree

This year YNiC is hosting a York Giving Tree, you will see our tree decorated with red tags. The tags have gifts written on them with items requested by local York charities to make this a time special for everyone.

To get involved, all you need to do is:

1. Choose a tag.

2. Buy the gift written on it - gifts can be as simple as a tin of beans!

3. Wrap it up.

4. Put the gift under our tree with the tag attached.

If you are not over in YNiC, look out for other York Giving Tree's across campus! :) Thank you!!

🗓️ YNiC User Inductions

If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to YNiC and/or an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. The next monthly induction will be on Tuesday the 6th of January, at 10:00am. Please ask them to contact support@ynic.york.ac.uk to sign up.

🗓️ Level 0 operator training

MRI Level 0 Training: Tuesday the 6th of January 13:00-15:00.

MEG Level 0 Training: Wednesday the 7th of January, 13:00-15:00.

Please note that users requesting Level 0 training should be a PhD, RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted to YNiC. Please email support@ynic.york.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4 trainees, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

🧠 Call for Speakers

We're currently recruiting speakers for our YNiC seminars next semester. If you would like to present your work to a very informal and friendly group please get in touch!! :)
