Tom Johnstone Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience Job Ref: LE14020 *Application Deadline: 30th June 2014* Salary: £31,301 to £58,231 per annum Hours: Full Time Contract: Permanent The Department of Psychology at the University of Reading is seeking to appoint an outstanding lecturer (UK equiv. to Assistant Professor) to further strengthen the Department's academic profile and to support its ambitious expansion plans. The School hosts the Centre for Integrative Neuroscience and Neurodynamics (CINN) brain imaging facility, with research dedicated MRI, EEG, TMS and eye-tracking systems. The School also houses an NHS child and adolescent mental health clinic and a recently opened NHS clinic for research and treatment of dementia. Applications are welcomed from researchers that build on existing strengths, with preference given to clinical psychology/neuroscience. You will have high quality publications and the talent and aptitude to succeed in an interdisciplinary and highly collegiate environment. Evidence of writing and gaining external grant awards is an advantage. Start up costs and dedicated access to facilities such as the MRI scanner are by negotiation.
