Please see details below regarding upcoming inductions and training sessions. Please remember YNiC will be closed this Friday (7th) for us to complete some essential updates.

YNiC User Inductions
If you are aware of any new students/staff that will require access to YNiC and/or an IT account, they must attend a YNiC user induction. Our next induction will be on Tuesday the 4th of March, at 10:00am. Please ask them to contact support@ynic.york.ac.uk to sign up.

Level 0 operator training
MRI Level 0 Training: Wednesday the 5th of March, 13:00-15:00. 
MEG Level 0 Training: Wednesday the 12th of March, 13:00-15:00.
Please note that users requesting Level 0 training should be a PhD, RA/Postdoc, or staff, and should already have a project proposal submitted to YNiC. Please email support@ynic.york.ac.uk if you have any questions or wish to book on to this session. Please note that sessions are limited to 4 trainees, which will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

YNiC Closure for Updates
YNiC will be closed on Friday the 7th of February while we complete some essential security updates. During this closure, there will be no access to the scanners, open plan, user support or the remote desktop.

YNiC Events: Wednesday 12th February
Our YNiC Seminar and COGS session will begin next Wednesday on the 12th of February at 11am. Professor Tony Morland will be presenting a talk titled “Do population receptive field sizes change as a function of the chromatic and luminance properties of the stimulus?”.
