A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Adam Aron (www.aronlab.org http://www.aronlab.org).
The candidate should be interested in fronto-basal-ganglia circuits for response control in humans. The candidate should have a PhD in any of learning/motivation, movement control, working memory or attentional/cognitive control. The candidate MUST have good skills in functional imaging and/or electrophysiology, and be interested in behavioral/cognitive task development.
The lab has excellent local and collaborative research resources, including fMRI, TMS and EEG/ECoG. There is also a patient-related component in Parkinson's disease. There is a broad psychology and neuroscience community at UCSD, moreover in a stunning location.
