The Spinoza Centre for
Neuroimaging has a postdoctoral position available for an MRI
Physicist / Scientist in Neuroimaging full time (38
hours/week) to develop innovative functional and morphological
imaging methods for investigating the physical and biological
basis of the brain in health and disease.
Requirements
The research will be
performed with state-of-the-art human 3T and 7T MRI scanners.
The candidate holds a Ph.D. in physics, engineering, or
related field. Solid knowledge of NMR/MRI physics and
experience in MRI pulse sequence development are essential, as
is hands-on experience with ultra-high field MRI. Skills in
mathematics, scientific computing, and programming are
desirable. The position is ideal for those seeking
opportunities to contribute to medical research in human
subjects.
The Spinoza Centre
The SC offers a
resourceful and stimulating scientific environment. The SC
houses 3T and 7T whole-body Philips MRI scanners that are
dedicated to research. The candidate will have full access to
resources at SC for research and career development. She or he
will have the opportunity and be supported to pursue
independent research related to this position.
