Hello,
We would like to remind everyone that the remote desktop is not suitable
for running computationally heavy tasks or resource-intensive processes. To
ensure optimal performance for all users, please send resource-heavy
computations (such as large data processing tasks) to the cluster. It is
designed to handle such workloads more efficiently and with minimal
disruption to others.
If you're unsure how to access the cluster or need assistance with setting
up your jobs please let us know (email support(a)ynic.york.ac.uk).
Many thanks,
Jennifer

Hello everyone,
Just a reminder that we have MRI safe glasses that go up in increments of
.5, however your participants will be more comfortable in contacts if they
have them; especially in the smaller head coils.
Thanks,
YNiC Techs :).

Hello everyone,
This is a reminder that YNiC will be closed on *Friday the 7th of
February* while
we complete some essential security updates.
There will be *no access* to the scanners, open plan, user support or the
remote desktop (basically, all things YNiC!).
Thanks very much,
Katya
