I can't promise that the session I will deliver this afternoon will be the
most fun talk you'll see all year, but attendance will save anyone
intending to continue to access YNiC services a significant amount of time.
I will present a brief (brief as possible) review of recent changes in YNiC
data access and data security policies that impact everyone who logs onto
YNiC's systems.
I will summarise your obligations and ours as defined by YNiC Data
Protection Impact Assessment to save you time, but you are encouraged to
read and understand this document yourself:
https://vcs.ynic.york.ac.uk/ynic-public/forms/-/raw/master/YNICDPIA183.pdf
** ANY USER WHO HAS NOT SIGNED AND RETURNED AN "APPROPRIATE DATA USAGE
DECLARATION" TO YNiC BY MIDDAY OF FRIDAY THE 17TH OF FEB 2023 WILL BE
LOCKED OUT OF ANY ACCESS TO YNIC **
Please come along in person to YNiC or log in on zoom if you can this
afternoon - I promise it will save you time in the long run. We will record
the zoom session and distribute the link after for those who cannot attend.

Hello
We're seeing a few issues with some of the remote desktops node in the
cluster. I'm going to reboot the nodes that have an issue so any
sessions on them will be terminated.
Thanks
