Heading 1 Heading 1 *YSPL Notice * *PLEASE CIRCULATE WITHIN YOUR ORGANISATION* ------------------------------ Dear Residents, Following a recent business review, YSPL have made the decision to modify the reception hours covered by our Centre Coordinators. We anticipate that there will be little impact on the day to day service that we provide. >From Monday 14th May 2018 the hours will be: *Monday –Thursday: 8:45 – 17:00 Friday: 8:45 -16:30* Please note that the main doors will be locked at 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 16:30 on a Friday. Please remember to use the out of hours procedure outside these hours and remember to close doors and lock them, set alarms and be vigilant about security. If you are not sure about the procedures in your building please discuss with your centre coordinator. Next YNIC Science Committee Meeting

Hello, The date for the next YNIC Science committee meeting is April 30th. If any users have issues that they would like raised, please can they get in contact with me before the end of next week so I can include these in the agenda. One issue we are hoping to discuss are the Seminar series. If anyone has any comments on what they like or dislike about these that would be really helpful. New approach to clinical scanning

Hello All, We are working on a new way to deliver our clinical services. When possible we are focusing our efforts on scanning on Monday afternoons and into early evening. This will allow us to allocate the required resources for the service in a more efficient way, while also making the scanners free for the rest of the week. It should be noted however that there may be some other occasions during the week when we may have to scan urgent cases. Best wishes Tony -- Antony Morland, PhD.
